The nuclear industry provides stable, well-paying jobs essential
to our nation's energy future. Each reactor unit at a
nuclear power plant will need up to 450 skilled workers with
technical backgrounds - two-thirds of these will require an
associate's degree from a community/junior college with
specialization in nuclear power plant systems, radiation
protection, or digital instrumentation and control.
