Nuclear Power Institute Hosting 2nd Annual Science on Saturday (SOS) at Wharton County Junior College

    Science on Saturday (SOS) is a science program for the young (K-6) and young at heart. The program will highlight cutting-edge science happening at universities and national laboratories through interactive, hands-on activities that include fun with dry ice, life-sized bubbles, and liquid nitrogen. The program will be led by local STEM educators and high school students sponsored by the Nuclear Power Institute and supported by Phillips 66 and Wharton County Junior College.

    Students, teachers, parents, and community members are welcome.

    The program is free to attend and open to the public.

    When: Saturday, February 16, 2013
    Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Where: Pioneer Student Center at Wharton County Junior College.
    Check In: Begins at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Student Union Building.
    Parking: Parking is free. Bus parking is in parking lot across the street from the Student Center. See map at http://www.wcjc.edu/about_n/maps.asp
